Tango can spells out obscenity

I thought this was a wind-up when I first saw the news report, however much to my delight I have seen it on sale and have even sampled a can or two.

To celebrate the success of their "Re-Birth", Tango (of Orangeade fame) released a larger can (440ml instead of the usual 330ml in the UK) of their most popular product. The design of the can, however, meant that the name of the product - "Tango With Added Tango" - rather blatantly spelt out the unfortunate aforementioned acronym.

What is not clear is whether or not the drinks maker - Britvic - intended this. They have stated that is it a coincidence, but at the same time they have been guilty of highly mischievous advertising in the past (one particular television advert, involving a giant Orange who went around smacking people directly on the ear - had to be banned after copycat incidents ended up with all manner of ear injuries).

Unfortunately the only article I can find relating to the story is from the dear old UK "Sun" newspaper - find it at - despite the occasional doubtful nature of their stories however, the product is genuine.

First timer, first post, first thread, please be gentle!
